Elves and Everquest

It's no secret that me and Dinalya been spending time together on EQ2. We have been playing for close to 4 months now and last night was definitely a special night for both of us. Both myself and Dinalya managed to finish our mythical quests and finally obtain the mythical version of our class specific weapon. In order to obtain the mythical version of your weapon you first have to complete a very long quest line to obtain the weapon first. The quest is a solo and group (require up to 6 people) and once the weapon is obtained, you have to complete a series of raid quests which require 24 people to complete. Finally in order to obtain the final piece you have to defeat the final raid boss of the expansion pack. Yes it is no easy task and to think that we finally obtained those weapons after starting over on a new server in less than 4 months is just amazing.

Dinalya plays a High Elf warlock and I play a Dark Elf Shadow Knight and it seems like such a perfect match for us and our story. This whole thing just seems like one amazing dream and sometimes it's so perfect that I start to fear I might wake up at any moment.

The guild we are part of are just so impressed with our ability and play style and they are relying on us immensely. I'm back at a high level raiding guild as the main tank and Dinalya is one of the top DPSers in the raid.

In short, we are having an amazing time together, on SL, on EQ2 and other place *smiles*. This quest line has mainly been the reason why we haven't been able to focus on SL or be on SL much lately. Even though we are done with our mythical weapons we have the new expansion pack just around corner come early 2010 and me and Dina are both working on a new character each. A Berserker for me and a Dirge for Dina. Here are a couple of pictures of the message that was sent to every player online when we obtained our mythical weapons.
